🌵 Season 1 Activities: Desert Survival & Boss Fights
Welcome to Season 1! This season introduces a harsh desert environment where managing your resources—specifically your hydration—is a matter of life and death for your troops.
Here is everything you need to know about surviving the Sandstorms, managing your Spring, and defeating the Dune Devourer.
đź’§ 1. Managing Your Water Level (The Spring)
In Season 1, staying hydrated is a core mechanic. If your water level drops too low, your base and troops will suffer severe debuffs. Your primary goal is to upgrade your Spring to increase your water capacity and production.
How to get your water level higher?
- Upgrade Your Spring: To do this, you need a special seasonal material called Branches.
- Farm Branches: You can acquire Branches by actively participating in S1-specific events and activities. The most reliable way to farm them is by fighting the Dune Devourer (Sand Worm) and completing your seasonal daily tasks.
- Keep it active: Make sure you are constantly gathering and participating in map objectives to keep your branch supply high.
You need to upgrade your well to explore the Season 1 map.
🌪️ 2. S1 Sandstorm Event Survival Guide
The Sandstorm is a server-wide environmental hazard that periodically sweeps across the map. If you are unprepared, it will decimate your forces.
The "3 Flask" Rule (Do not waste water!)
- You only need to drink 3 flasks of water yourself to reach the safe hydration threshold required to survive the Sandstorm without taking damage.
- Do not flood yourself with water! Drinking more than necessary is a massive waste of a precious resource. Save your extra flasks.
Teamwork is Key (Send Water)
- Once you have secured your own 3 flasks, go to your Alliance/Guild tab and look around at your guild members.
- If you see allies whose water levels are critically low (in the red zone), send your excess water to them. A guild that survives the storm together fights better together!
Claim Your Achievements
- The game rewards teamwork! After the Sandstorm passes, do not forget to check your S1 Event tab to claim the specific achievements for Drinking Water and Sending Water to your guildmates. These achievements yield great seasonal rewards.
🪱 3. S1 Dune Devourer (Sand Worm Boss)
The Dune Devourer is the massive seasonal World Boss of Season 1. Defeating it requires massive guild coordination and optimized DPS queues. For Season 1, you need to complete the achievement of attacking this boss 80 times.
The Boss Mechanics
The fight is split into two distinct, critical stages:
- Stage 1: Breaking the Morale. In this phase, the Sand Worm is shielded or highly resistant. Your guild's primary objective is to continuously attack and rally it to bring its Morale Bar down to 0.
- Stage 2: The HP Burn. Once the Morale hits 0, the boss becomes vulnerable. This is the DPS check. You must deal as much damage as possible to bring its HP to 0 within the time limit. Make sure to use your absolute highest Single-Target DPS heroes (like Kimberly) for this phase!
The Rewards (Leaderboards)
- At the end of the event, the system calculates your total damage dealt.
- If you place high on the Leaderboard Rankings, you will receive premium rewards based on your specific bracket.
- The Loop: The most important loot from these ranking chests are the Branches. You need these Branches to upgrade your Spring, which in turn helps you survive the Sandstorms and progress further in the season!
